DIY Haircare at Home during Monsoon

Monsoon is always awaited by everyone after a long summer. However, after a few days of euphoria, you notice all the problems that get invited with the season. One of the concerns - a possibility of damage to the hair due to the rain pollutants!

There are a lot of products which are available to help you in taking care of your hair but now, it is not that easy. Not everyone is able to step out of the house and not everyone has access to supplies if they are in containment zones. Keeping that in mind, we are here to share some DIY hair masks which you can easily make at the comfort of your home.

Yoghurt and honey

Yoghurt and honey are the star ingredients in your kitchen when it comes to hair care. Mix yoghurt with a few drops of honey, apply them evenly on the roots and on the length of your hair. Leave it on for about half an hour and rinse it with cold water. Do it once a week to get shiny and luscious hair.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is known for its countless benefits. It can be mixed with yogurt, coconut oil or castor oil depending on your hair’s length to give it a sheen. Extract the gel from the plant and mix it with coconut oil and honey, use this as an application to soothe a dry scalp leave it for 1/2 hr, wash it off with mild shampoo and conditioner and apply a good hair serum.

Aloe vera and vitamin E capsules

Take some aloe vera gel and massage it all over your hair, from your roots to the length. Post this, take some coconut oil and use oil from 3-4 vitamin E capsules. Apply it all over your hair and leave it on for at least an hour overnight. Wash it off with mild shampoo and conditioner and apply a good hair serum.

Bananas

Bananas are great for rejuvenating dull and dry hair. All you need is 1-2 ripe bananas, 1 tablespoon each of honey, olive oil, and raw milk. Apply this mixture on the hair and leave it on for 20 minutes for healthy and bouncy hair. Wash it off with mild shampoo and conditioner and apply a good hair serum.

Coconut oil

The coconut oil mask along with some essential oils like almond or olive may seem sticky but works great on damaged hair. Mix the oils in a small bowl, heat it slightly and apply this mixture evenly on your scalp. You can keep this mask on your hair for an hour and wash it off with mild shampoo and conditioner and apply a good hair serum.
