Popular winter facials

Winters are here and it is the perfect time to pull out all the colorful scarves, hats, stoles, jackets, gloves and boots. It is time to grab a chai at your favorite stall or a bite of the onion pakoras. Nothing seems to be better than the winter chill. But is it really such a good time for your skin? We would say yes it is because Enrich Salon has brought for you the most loving ways to pamper and take care of your skin. We are all aware that the skin feels dry and sensitive in the winters and that moisturizers are a must in these few months. Moreover, you must keep yourself hydrated, well covered and apply sun screen even if the temperature is falling each day. However, besides these regular practices there are some facials that you must consider especially during winters. These help retain natural moisture and essential oils in the skin, keeping your skin glowing and hydrated all through the winter season. This winter we present great relief from dry skin. Dry skin issues tend to aggravate during winters, making the skin look tired and dull. A well hydrated skin looks young, tight and supple which is exactly what our Hydramoist Advance facial for dry skin will do. The natural ingredients and serums in this treatment remove dry and dead skin cells and the massage will fight skin complaints. The next most popular facial during winters is called Young Blush. As the name suggests, this treatment is especially recommended for skin that looks older than what it is, tired and damaged due to sun, dust and pollution. The daily wear and tear of the skin results in early signs of ageing, fine lines and de-coloration. To revive and rejuvenate your face, we strongly recommend Young Blush where the DNA milk and moor peels rehydrate your skin leaving it soft and supple. The next facial that we recommend is apt for all skin types and is called Youthful Advance facial. The use of Vitamin C & A, Soya proteins, Chamomile extract along with face masks bring visible changes in your otherwise damaged skin. You can definitely choose this treatment if you notice fine lines on your face and feel you need a treatment to lighten your skin tone. Each of the above treatments lasts for about 60 minutes. We assure that besides cleansing, moisturizing and hydrating your facial skin, these treatments will bring noticeable changes making you look and feel young, confident and radiant. So why wait, grab the opportunity to enjoy this winter with...

If you have to cry, do so in winter!

Help! It’s ultraviolet rays time! It always is, but during winter it hits our eyes harder. Yes it is worse to those surrounded by snow, but it cause enough damage to others too. It can cause cataracts and photo keratitis, which is like having sunburn on your eye ball! Another thing to consider is the sudden dryness of the weather. This leads to less moisture inside the eyes and the tear glands just cannot keep up. This leads to itchy dry eyes that hurt, cause blurring of vision, make you feel like your eyes are burning, or watery vision as the eyes try to extra compensate. But don’t worry. Keep your eyes peeled while you read what Enrich Salons says about how to tackle all this and more. Wrap around sunglasses at any time is a good idea so the rays can’t sneak in through the corners. If you are into winter sports protective sport goggles with polycarbonate lenses fitted to your eyes are a must. Did you know that warming your feet is like applying a hair dryer to your eye ball? Make use of this knowledge when in a cold car. Turn the heat on so it heats your feet. Also if you turn on the face blast, it will actually dry out your eyes more. No you do not want that. Apart from ultraviolet rays and dryness there are other problems. Here are a few tips on how to tackle them: Get a comprehensive and annual eye examination done during winter. Do not share make up, as viruses like pink eye are very common and spread fast. This rule applies throughout the year, with a special emphasis in winter. Contact lens users use drops more often than usual. To keep your eyes hydrated here are a few tips: Use eye drops. Have a lot of soup since in winter you do not feel like drinking so much water. Eat fish. The Omega 3 acids decrease eye inflammation. If you don’t like fish, take a fish oil supplement. This will also increase the productivity of your tear glands to the required level. Lastly, use eye make up from good brands only as your eyes are specially susceptible this time of the...

Get a grip on chapped winter hands

We use our hands for everything. And we tend to forget this fact. The other seasons take care of them for us because of the moisture in the air. But winter reminds us how susceptible they are to wear and tear, roughness and dryness. Hand Beautifying Services In winter, there is virtually no moisture in the air. Yet you are doing the same tasks and washing your hands with soaps the same number of times every day as in any other season. In fact you might wash even more often to avoid colds and flus! Good grief! So what do you do other than crack, peel and bleed? Or even worse, suffer from fissures, itching, inflammation and eczema? Relax those clenched fingers. Enrich Salons tells us. Moisturise. And moisturise. And moisturise. Drinking water, which you must do, won’t be enough. You have to keep that water in by not letting it evaporate. By moisturising from without. Start moisturising, not just your hands but your cuticles and nails, before the symptoms of winter show up so you nip the problem in the bud. Do it at least five or six times a day. Maybe every time you wash your hands? Use moisturisers that contain emollients and humectants. Emollients are lubricants that help shed dry skin. Lanolin, jojoba oil, isopropyl palmitate, propylene glycol linoleate, squalene, and glycerol stearate are what you will be looking for in the ingredients. Humectants actually draw in environmental moisture into your skin! Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, sorbitol, propylene glycerol, urea, and lactic acid are what you will be looking for in the ingredients. If your hands are dryer than usual and crack or bleed, you need thicker moisturisers with therapeutic properties. Petroleum jelly is the first choice in such cases. Next is a rich and thick moisturiser containing heavy ingredients like dimethicone, cocoa or shea butter, or beeswax. Apply generous amounts before going to sleep and keep the goodness in by slipping on a pair of cotton gloves. The moisturising regime is a must. But it is also important how you wash your hands during the cold season. Use a mild soap, warm and not hot or cold water, pat dry, and moisturise immediately. If you have severe dryness of hands problem, try and replace the washing of hands with a hand sanitizing gel or wipe. If the dryness still persists, consider consulting a dermatologist. Hand Beautifying Services Think about using a humidifier in your room. It will hydrate not only your hands but also your entire...
