Winter is a season of beauty and pristine purity. Edith Sitwell has eloquently quoted, “Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” There is a lot of hidden meaning to this quote which clearly implies that winter is surely not a time to be outdoors. But in today’s world we really cannot be holed up indoors to combat the weather. So we all gear up, get out our woolies and go about our routine despite the icy weather. By drinking adequate amount of water we can ensure that our lips are moisturized from within. Another issue to look into is our diet. The onset of cracked lips is an indication that there is a deficiency of Vitamin B in your daily meal consumption. Unprocessed foods are rich in Vitamin B and you need to add these to your meals. Try eating a banana everyday as this is rich in vitamin B. At the end of the day, all you wish to do is crash into your bed, get into the quilt and drift off after a harrowing day at work.
