It is that time of the year when weddings, parties and formal occasions will take centrestage. With the weather being pleasant, people love to invest in good clothes, jewellery and accessories to look pretty and well turned out at formal occasions like weddings. At Enrich Salons & Academy, the organization believes in talking about the latest trends for the season, newer trends in make-up, beauty and what’s hot and what’s not for beauty and grooming business in the coming years. Enrich Salons recently did a feature that put the spotlight on newer trends in beauty and make-up for brides in India. We take a look at what actually went into the feature and who were responsible for the make-up and the kind of trendy looks the brides wore for the feature. Book Bridal Services Online The creative team was led by Taniyaa for make-up and Sareena for hair. They were assisted by Sujata and Anisha,who are a part of the Enrich Salons & Academy team. The concept was thought through and ideas were tossed. With aseries of discussions and after rejecting the expected, Mood Boards were initiated. To design the look, the team sat and planned on backgrounds, décor, colours, jewellery and special elements required for each bridal look. Since bridal outfits are traditionally in tones of red, it can become a limitation for variations in jewellery and décor, but that was seen as a challenge. Sporting trends and the forecast for the season was smooth sailing. Each model was chosen with a distinct skin tone and hair texture. Finally, what shows in the shoot is a careful distinctive element in each look. The Indian contemporary bride has undergone several changes as she gets completely taken in by the recent fashion trends. The bridal collection when it comes to dressing the Indian bride has gone for a great makeover and even the way you groom yourself for the D-Day has changed a lot in the past decade. The Indian bride is divided according to different communities and here we would like to introduce how the various communities have gone for an image makeover with the changing styles. Some brides also prefer to not look very bright and therefore a semi-traditional look is preferred and almost nude pink lip colour is chosen for the one who doesn’t want to look like a typical bride on her wedding day. The glow is created by contouring the nose and chin. Gujarati/Marwari bride Since the Gujarati and Marwari brides prefer the traditional look, the hair are tied in a low bun but the hairstyle is done more in the contemporary fashion. The colour red is highlighted on the eyes and the skin tone is preferred to be yellow with a combination of brown. The gold glitter eyeshadow works best on Gujarati and Marwari brides.
