Our promise – we believe in delivering a superior service experience, and helping you look and feel good, because ‘Love Begins With You’. Every company starts out with a mission and a vision in mind. Who here knows the true story of Valentine’s Day?

Who here knows the true story of Valentine’s Day?

It began in the IIIrd century, when a Roman Emperor, Claudius II, outlawed marriage for young people, believing that single men made better soldiers. Valentinus, a Christian priest, continued marrying young people in secret, contrary to the royal edict. As a result, he was found, arrested, and sentenced to death. During his final days of imprisonment, being a man of learning, he took a student, the daughter of one of his jailers, Julia, who was blind. He showed her the world through his eyes, shared his wisdom, and comforted her with his quiet strength. The day of his death (February 14, 270 AD), has now become synonymous with the expression of love, devotion and affection, around the world, in remembrance of Valentinus. Lovers around the world exchange messages, stories, gestures gifts, moments and experiences, on this very special day. But why should it only be so? Let us remember the true essence of the man in whose memory Valentine’s Day is now celebrated – it is his unwavering hold on his beliefs, on his faith, and on what he found preciouswithin himself i.e. being steadfastly devout to his ideals of Christianity and the Christian marriage, so much so that he remained undeviating even in the face of death. While such times are passed, it is important, even more so in the modern world, to remember to first love yourself, and find strength within yourself, before sharing it with others. After all, only a flower full of health can share its nectar! Enrich believes in this ideal. Thus, keeping this in mind, it has come up with a new facial, just in time for Valentine’s Day – the Love Bloom facial. An excellent facial for all skin types, it will give your facial skin a smooth and even tone, clean out the residue of those busy days spent commuting, and make you as fair as you feel inside. Following are some of the more significant steps and ingredients: A cleansing cream full of the sweet goodness of maple, bilberry and orange extracts, which will clean and soothe your skin. A peeling cream composed of Argan Oil and Shea Butter which will moisturise, reduce melanin production, and give a whitening effect. A toner, with refreshing rose water, which will unclog the pores and help fight acne. A special massage cream, containing grape wine extracts which will get your skin buzzing with good health! We’ll just end with this message – Valentine’s Day is an occasion to spread love. But, every day is an occasion to love yourself. Try this facial – it will give you even more reason to love yourself,...

Foot care during monsoon

Foot care during monsoon

Monsoon surely brings the relief from summer but what it also brings is wet, smelly and dirty feet, fear of fungal and bacterial infection and many concerns related to the feet. Foot care is of primary concern in the monsoon and hence we present some tips that will help you enjoy the monsoon. First and foremost, keep your feet clean and dry. As soon as you are back home, make sure you wash your feet with luke-warm water. It will be ideal to dip your feet in warm water and allow yourself to relax. Dry the feet completely especially in between your toes. We would say it is wise to dust your feet with a dry talcum powder. Moisturize your feet and make it your ritual every night before going to bed. Scrub and wash your feet especially if you have stepped out in rain water to wash off all the dirt. Before going to bed, apply a good moisturizer that will help retain the natural oils and keep your feet supple. Closed shoes must be avoided as much as possible. They trap the moisture in the shoes which makes feet smell, skin itchy and prone to infection. Picking up on some shoes with open toes will help keep the shoes and your feet dry. Long nails must be avoided too as they have more chances of being infested by bacteria. Be choosy about your pedicures. Pedicures may sound like a tempting idea to get clean feet in the monsoon. But select your salon with care and ensure all the products and equipments are sterilized and are infection free. We insist that during your next visit to the nearest Enrich Salon, please ask our expert teams about the hygiene standards that we maintain, we are sure you will be happy with what you get to see. Walking bare feet is absolutely a bad idea especially on wet floors. Wet floors have a tendency to bear infection and can cause allergies that may take a while to heal, especially in monsoon. Keep your feet not just clean but also protected with suitable footwear. Our feet carry us all day long and hence it is very important that we take great care of them and keep them healthy. For any of your concerns regarding foot care, please don’t hesitate to seek guidance from our team, we will be glad to assist...

Made for monsoon

The cold splash of rain drops on your window sill and the gentle breeze in your hair feels heavenly in the monsoon, doesn’t it? The weather is cool, quiet and pleasant and there is love in the air! But wait, did you just say party? Who goes to a party in the crazy rain, get drenched with a smudgy make up? Well, if it is the monsoon that is stopping you from partying, then don’t let it. Enrich Salon brings good news – very simple make up tips at your finger tips that will help you keep your make up just where you want it to be. Light base for your make up: The base of your make up should be light. This will help you wear a fresh look throughout the day. Also by any chance if water splashes on your face chances of it getting smudged are less likely. Give your foundation a skip since it may make your face appear patchy with water or sweat. Go for a light BB cream or face powder. They are a safe bet Water proof products:  Your base has to be right. If the base is smudgy then the entire make up is sure to wash off. So the number one rule is to buy a good quality water proof foundation. Similarly opting a water proof eye liner and mascara are strongly recommended. Blush: To give your face a creamy dewy look pick up a cream based blush instead of your normal powder blush. If you wish to enhance the colour then add a layer of powder blush over it. The cream blush tends to stay longer on the face and even looks fresher. Go for colours that look natural. Pastel colours look subtle and apt in monsoon. Eye shadows: The same applies for eye shadows. Subtle colours like beige, pink and brown are the shades of monsoon. A powdered product is better than the cream based ones since the former doesn’t look washed out easily. Mascara: Unless wearing mascara is absolutely necessary, skip it. And if you must then either go for a water resistant product so that it doesn’t get smudged or you may also pick up clear mascara. Eyeliners: Use liners that are water proof. Or choose pencil liners over liquid ones. Opting for gel based products is safest for monsoon. Eyebrows: If you need to fill your eyebrows then choose a brow pencil since it will sit better on the face as compared to a brow powder. Lipsticks: Any shade is good when it comes to lipstick. There hardly is a problem with that. However make...
