You probably have baking soda in your kitchen to bake a cake. But did you know that Potassium carbonate or commonly known as baking soda has been used since many years as a beauty care product. It helps as an exfoliator and a skin-brightener. It also treats uneven skin tone. Since it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals, baking soda is also popular to work on acne and bacterial infection.

Teeth: Mix one table spoon of baking soda with some water and a pinch of salt. Use this paste to brush your teeth once a day. Baking soda acts as natural bleach for your teeth.
Hair: You can see the magic of baking soda on your hair too. If you feel the chemicals in the shampoo may damage your hair, simply add one teaspoon of baking soda in the shampoo bottle and use this shampoo each time you wash your hair.
