Go purple with your eye-make for V-day
When it comes to Valentine’s Day you may wear pink or red outfit for the evening with your Mr. Special. A candle night dinner is incomplete without sheer and bright make-up. With the changing trends there is a lot to experiment with.Girls, aren’t we bored of the predictable red? Be different. Try pink and purple shades for Valentine’s party.
This time for the V-day we thought we would tell you about how purple has made a big fashion statement in evening wear dressing and your eye make-up. Your eye make-up gives you that smoking hot look. As they say ‘eyes are the window to the soul’, let’s find out how you can experiment with a purple eye shadow.
For this you require a dark purple matte eyeshadow, a shimmer based lilac eyeshadow, peach eyeshadow, bright gold highlighter and coastal scents brushes.
Now take a small rounded brush, dip it in purple matte eye shadow and apply it into the area where your eye folds. Follow the shape of your eyebrow to give it a defined look. Make sure you don’t end up poking your eyes.
Apply the shimmer lilac eyeshadow in the centre and blend it lightly. Both colors will complement each other when applied correctly.
Apply the peach eyeshadow in the 1/3 part of the eye. Take your rounded blush and blend the part where you have applied peach eyeshadow and blend the top edge with the shimmer lilac color. Spread the peach color into the outer edge where the matte purple is applied.
You can use the matte eye shadow under your lower lashes line as well. Apply smudge free eye pencil on lower lash line and add a bright gold in inner corner. Add gel eyeliner on the top lash line. Smudge the pencil very lightly so that it doesn’t look harsh.
Have a blast this Valentine’s Day. Love is in the air
